Hello friends! We’re on a roll around here with all the blog posts we’re trying to catch up on! Very excited to share some of our favorite pictures from Jennafer & Michael’s wedding today 🙂 Jennafer and I grew up together – her little sister and I were practically inseparable growing up and Jennafer was like a big sister to me. She and Dusty were even roommates at one point before he and I got married 🙂 So, it was quite an honor for us to be part of her wedding day. She and Michael are so perfect together and we just had the best time with them. It really is so much fun being a part of someone’s day like that when they are practically family. Their wedding weekend was held at the gorgeous Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee in GA. Such a beautiful place for a wedding! It was so much fun and relaxed with everything all in one place.
It was a beautiful day full of laughter and celebrating. The Finesse Band was amazing and kept everyone on the dance floor. And seriously– how amazing is Jennafer’s dress?! Thank you to these fabulous vendors and a huge thank you to Jennafer & Michael for trusting us with your wedding day memories:

Yes, Leslie did get in the pool for this shot. It was the only way. 😉
We’re kicking off a series of blogging to catch you guys up on tons of work from last year! We’ll start with Claire & Clint’s beautiful wedding at The Loveless Barn. Claire & Clint were so sweet and totally laid back. We loved being a part of their day and getting to know them. Their ceremony was outside on the patio area of the Loveless Barn and the reception was inside. We’ve done a few weddings there but this was the first time for us to shoot both the ceremony and reception there. It was so nice to have everything in one place 🙂 It was a beautiful day with the sun setting behind them during their ceremony. Such a simple, sweet wedding focused on their love and enjoying time with all their family and friends.

Happy Friday everyone! We’re in Atlanta this weekend for my best friend’s wedding! I can’t believe we haven’t posted these pictures yet- we took these engagement pictures for Laurin & Matt when we took our trip to California in April. Laurin and I have been bffs since we met in High School and I couldn’t be more excited for her. She and Matt are truly perfect together. When she moved to CA years ago I said ‘Oh great…you’re going to move to CA, fall in love and never come back.’ Of course that’s exactly what happened but I’m so glad it did 🙂 Dusty and I had such a great time visiting them in Manhattan Beach in April- their life there is just amazing.
Noona, I love you so much and can’t wait to be a part of your WEDDING DAY! Ahhhhh. Even though we live so far away from each other, we never miss a beat when we finally get to see each other. I’m so very happy for you and can’t wait to see you as a bride tomorrow! xoxo
And can we talk about how ridiculously good looking their children are going to be?! 😉
Hello everyone! Now that Anne & Jack are married and off enjoying Australia & New Zealand (what?!) we can finally show some of our favorites from Anne’s gorgeous bridal portrait session. We met up with Anne at her grandparents’ house and did a few pictures there to mimic the ones her mom had done there when Anne’s parents got married. They turned out beautiful! Then we headed over to Cheekwood where Anne & Jack had their gorgeous reception. It was nice to be able to spend time getting some gorgeous pictures of Anne before the big day. A lot of times, no matter how much you plan for pictures on the big day, there just isn’t enough time to get a ton of great bridal pictures. Of course we try our very best but a separate bridal session is always nice. 🙂 Plus, it gives you a chance to dress up and see everything put together- hair, makeup, dress, etc!
Y’all…I just can’t even handle Anne’s amazing veil. This veil has quite a story! It was purchased in 1900 and first worn by Anne’s Great Great Great Aunt. Anne was the 46th bride in her family to wear the veil. Yes, you read that right. The 46th!! It was absolutely beautiful and such an incredible story and family heirloom. It’s in fantatic condition so we were EXTRA careful 😉
